Detailed definition

A Train to Gain learner is an adult learner whose learning is enabled, sponsored or facilitated by their employer. Train to Gain learners can be funded from mainstream FE allocations or from the discrete Train to Gain budget.

Funded Train to Gain Aims are identified where the LSC Funding Stream is flagged as being Train to Gain (A10=60)

Train to Gain Like Aims are identified where the LSC Funding Stream is flagged as being Further Education (A10=20) and the age of the learner when they started the aim was 19 or over (A_AGESTB>=3) and the aim is flagged as being Train to Gain badged provision (A46a or A46b=64)

An aim is Fully Brokered when the aims if flagged as being Train to Gain (A_TTGAIN>0) and has valid Broker contract (A54 <>9999999999), if the Broker contract=9999999999, then the aim is Not Fully Brokered.
