Disadvantaged Learner Data Definition

1 Flag to indicate if a learner is considered to be disadvantaged.

2 A 1/0 flag to show if a learner is eligible for disadvantage uplift.

5 If Eligibility for Disadvantaged Uplift (L32), is any value other than not eligible for disadvantage uplift (when L32 is not 99), then Flag to Indicate if Learner is Considered to be Disadvantaged or Not (L_DISADV) has a value of 1. If Eligibility for Disadvantaged Uplift (L32) has a value of 99, then Flag to Indicate if Learner is Considered to be Disadvantaged or Not (L_DISADV) has a value of 0.

6 Note that for statistical purposes, a learner must have a Disadvantage Uplift Factor (L33) that is greater than 1 to receive a disadvantage uplift for FE funding purposes.
