Census Dates Definition

DEFINITION

1. Data is collected at specified points of the year for monitoring purposes. These dates are Analytical Census Dates.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

2. Census dates are used to monitor whether learners or aims are active at particular points in the year. The three census dates are 1st October, 1st November and 1st January.

3. Note: Census dates are also used for funding purposes, but these are not the same periods as the analytical census dates.
