Changed UPIN Lookup Tables

1 These tables detail how a provider’s UPIN has changed for years from 2002/03 to 2005/06.

Purpose

2 The tables are created and maintained in order to provide a way for the data matching process in the WBL Success Rates methodology to operate on data where a provider is represented by a consistent UPIN between years.

4 There are three tables covered by this definition:

The 2002/03 to 2003/04 table shows changes in UPIN from the year 2002/03 to 2003/04
The 2003/04 to 2004/05 table shows changes in UPIN from the year 2003/04 to 2004/05
The 2004/05 to 2005/06 table shows changes in UPIN from the year 2004/05 to 2005/06

L01	Provider number in the earlier year (ie. the UPIN in 2002/03 when using the 2002/03 to 2003/04 lookup table).
upin0304	Provider number in 2003/04 (used in the 2002/03 to 2003/04 lookup)
upin0405	Provider number in 2004/05 (used in the 2003/04 to 2004/05 lookup)
upin0506	Provider number in 2005/06 (used in the 2004/05 to 2005/06 lookup)
