Period Business Definition

DEFINITION

1. Period relates to the latest time period that a dataset contains.

2. Providers returning information to the Individualised Learner Record (ILR) for aims eligible for European Social Fund (ESF) or Employer Responsive funding must do so on a monthly basis. The period value shows the month that the data applies to.

3. The values used are as follows:

  • 1 - August
  • 2 - September
  • 3 - October
  • 4 - November
  • 5 - December
  • 6 - January
  • 7 - February
  • 8 - March
  • 9 - April
  • 10 - May
  • 11 - June
  • 12 - July

4. The period field identifies the most recent month included, meaning that the dataset will also include data from the preceding months.
