Entry Level Certificates Business Definition 2008/2009

DEFINITION

1. Entry Level Certificates are the first level of the Foundation Learning Tier (FLT), and are designed to allow learners to progress to Level 1 of the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

2. Entry Level Certificates are divided into three levels, and are available in over 100 subjects covering academic, skills and vocational areas.

3. The three levels broadly follow the National Curriculum levels 1-3.
