Timeliness Standards
The information authority has introduced timeliness standards for Employer Responsive returns. The standards set out the number of reporting months between collection periods for the recording of starts, achievements and leavers/withdrawals. The standards are set out in Appendix A of the ILR: Collection Timetable.
The standards have been set in response to Skills Funding Agency Guidance Note 3, which set out the need for efficient and transparent financial reconciliation for Employer Responsive funding.
Starts data must be reported within 2 reporting months (which includes the month in which the activity takes place). Achievements and leavers/withdrawls must be reported with 3 reporting months (which includes the month in which the activity takes place).
Timeliness Reports
Providers can use ER Timeliness Reports assess their achievement against data timeliness standards. The reports are available from the Provider Data Quality Reports folder from the Document Exchange on the Provider Gateway.
Skills Funding Agency managers have access to managerial versions of reports through the MI Library (internal use only).
