If you register to receive updates through web alerts, your information will be held on a secure server and the data will not be shared with organisations other than the Skills Funding Agency, of which the Data Service is a part.  It will be used only to provide you with email updates on the topics you have requested.

Information Request

The Data Service is independently is part of the Skills Funding Agency which comprises employees appointed by the Chief Executive of Skills Funding.  The Chief Execitive is a data controller registered with the Information Commissioner, and with legal obligations under the Data Protection Act 1998, Freedom of Information Act 2000 and Environmental Information Regulations 2005.

The Data Protection Act entitles you to request information held about yourself.
The Environmental Information Regulations entitle you to request environmental information held by a public authority.
The Freedom of Information Act entitles you to ask for any information which would not be covered by the other legislation and held by a public authority
You can make a request for information under any of the above and held by the Data Service by making a request of the Skills Funding Agency.
