ILR Quality Assessments

Quality assessments present the results of completeness checks on selected fields against data quality standards for providers published by the information authority (ILR 2009/10 Appendix P). The assessments include information on:

• Null entries
• Average completion rate for selected fields
• Frequency and percentage count of below data standard entries (e.g., L12=99)
• Frequency and percentage count of providers failing to achieve data standards for the field

The Data Service is working with the information authority towards increasing the range and type of ILR data quality assessments. It is strongly recommended that users undertake any further quality assessments that may be required for their reporting or financial requirements.
