Known Issues

The documents on this page hold details of errors or problems which affect the ILR datasets supplied by the Data Service. These include errors with the calculation of derived variables, systematic incorrect recording of data by providers, and other data quality issues.

For each collection type and academic year there is a document describing the outstanding known issues affecting the latest available dataset, and a document describing all the known issues that have affected previous datasets, including those that have been resolved.

The terminology used to identify datasets within the known issues document is:
Collection Name, collection number, date dataset prepared.
For example,
Employer Responsive W01 dataset prepared on 07/09/2009

Please note that where known issues are discovered after a dataset is published the known issues document will be update to reflect this.


2009/10

•   All 2009/10 Employer Responsive Known Issues.  Including outstanding and resolved issues 
• All 2009/10 Learner Responsive Known Issues.  Including outstanding and resolved issues (Updated)
•  Known Issues with the Employer Responsive W11 dataset prepared on 07 July 2010 (LSC freeze reference E11_0910_070710) 
•  Known Issues with the Learner Responsive F03 Dataset prepared on 16 June 2010 (LSC Freeze Reference F03_0910_160610)  (Updated)
•   Known Issues with the Adult Safe Guard Learning, C03 dataset prepared on 18 May 2010 (LSC Freeze reference C03_0910_180510)  
•  Known Issues with the ESF Short Record S10 dataset prepared on 07 June 2010 (LSC Freeze reference S10_0910_070610)   
•  Known Issues with the UFI U02 dataset prepared on 8 March 2010 (LSC Freeze reference U02_0910_080310) 
•  All 2009/10 Adult Safe Guard Learning Known Issues. Including outstanding and resolved issues 
• All 2009/10 University for Industry Known Issues. Including outstanding and resolved issues 

2008/09

•  Known Issues with the Learner Responsive F05 dataset prepared on 07 December 2009 (LSC freeze reference F05_0809_07122009)
•  Known Issues with the W15 dataset prepared on 20 November 2009 (LSC freeze reference E15_0809_201109)
•  All 2008/09 Employer Responsive Known Issues.  Including outstanding and resolved issues.
•  All 2008/09 Learner Responsive Known Issues. Including outstanding and resolved issues.
• There are currently no known issues for Short Record, UFI or ASL Data Sets.
