Ofqual link on the LAD website

When selecting  the link 'For Ofqual details, click here.' on the Learning Aim Website, this now takes you to the ‘The Register of Regulated Qualifications’ homepage rather than the qualification details page as it did on the National Database of Accredited Qualifications.

At present, the functionality will not take you directly into the Learning Aim on the Ofqual website as it did prior to the 'Register' being released. This change was not scoped when the LAD was developed for 2010/11 and will not be reviewed until the next 'Academic Rollover' process takes place early next year. The workaround is to use the search function on Ofqual (remembering that the slashes / need to be in the aim reference when using their search functionality).

Awarding Body Aim Reference:

When entering data in the field 'Awarding Body Aim Reference' field, you may receive the following message:

ERROR
The system was unable complete the processing of your request. The following errors occurred:

Error: D67522629: Unable to query learning aim database.

If this problem persists please contact support, quoting the information displayed above. 

This has been escalated and is currently being investigated further. We will update you when we have more information available.
