This week we will be issuing a first beta test version of the Learner Information Suite version 18 (2010/11) to assist software writers and providers writing their own ILR software. LIS 18.01 (beta) requires 2010/11 ILR test data to run and is intended to help developers of systems producing ILR data.
LIS 18.01 beta reflects changes to the ILR validation rules and incorporates changes to other screens and functionality to reflect 2010/11 requirements. This will be covered further in the accompanying release guide.
This version contains an early version of the 2010/11 Employer Responsive calculation module with basic ER funding reports. It also contains a version of the Learner Responsive calculation module and a new report the Young Person’s Learner Numbers form but no LR funding reports. Please note that these early versions are still in development and undergoing testing, we therefore cannot assure the accuracy or reliability of the calculation and its components. Users are advised to not use this functionality to calculate funding totals for 2010/11.

As part of this Beta test, we will need you to provide feedback on your experience of the software and report any faults that you encounter. Any defects not reported before 14:00 15th June 2010 may not be used in the final version of LIS 18.01.
