R06 ILR return due on 06 February 2012
The Data Service would like to remind all providers (including colleges) that the 2011/12 R06 ILR return is due in on 06 February 2012 and therefore to send data for ALL of their learners.
Providers are reminded:
· to ensure your ILR file has been validated and is free from all errors you may need to send your file a few days earlier than the return date, to give you time to clear any errors in your validation error report
· to check the returned Added Value Reports on the Online Data Collections (OLDC) system to ensure that you have not had XML errors that prevent all or some of the data being processed
· you can send an ‘A’ file early and, if necessary, follow this up with a ‘B’ file to correct any learners, this will help to speed up processing.

The Data Service has produced a ‘How to’ guide to sending ILR data for 2011/12. This guide has been produced in response to the issues raised by providers in understanding how to use the data collection systems and how to send data for 2011/12.
