LIS V19.02 due for release in January

The Data Service will be releasing the Learner Information Suite (LIS) V19.02 later this month.

 Updates to LIS V19.02 will include:

• Optional ULN Validation Facility – This function will allow LIS users to export a batch file from LIS, ready to be processed by the Learning Records Service (LRS) web portal for ULN verification. Post submission of the batch file, users will receive a corresponding return file from the portal which can be re-imported into LIS for the purpose of generating a new report..
• ULN Verification Report – This report will display the ULN verification statuses and further information provided by the Optional ULN validation facility..
• Fixes to the Skills Funding Agency and YPLA funding calculation modules
• Funding Claim Report Update – pages 3 and 5 have been re-introduced to the report as they were previously excluded in LIS 19.01.65 due to performance issues
• Other fixes for current known issues.
